Following the news that broke about the death of Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash, numerous conspiracy theories have emerged and begun circulating.  One of the most alarming conspiracy theories is that if the helicopter crash was orchestrated and conspired by someone, it could potentially lead to World War III.

The reason behind this is the current tense international situation between Israel and Palestine, with Iran’s active support for Palestine.

Amidst this, Israel bombed the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in retaliation, Iran launched missiles at Israeli territory; this marked the first time for a military confrontation to occur between Israel and Iran.

The United States has put Iran under sanctions due to their alleged development of nuclear weapons, and in the midst of this, the US-supported Israel attacked Iran, spiking the possibility of a third World War.

It was found that the deceased Iranian president was a hardliner against Israel, and the current Prime Minister, Netanyahu, is known as the same kind.

Given that both countries' governments are hardliners, it is unlikely that this standoff to cool down any time soon.

Moreover, Israel is at war with Gaza and Palestine.
Currently, anti-Israel movements are emerging in American universities, so it is essential to watch how the US policy towards the Middle East will change the future.
However, one thing is clear: peace in the Middle East is a crucial key to preventing World War III.
